Homemade Snow Cones

20 years ago I lived in Canada and here I was served my first snow cone. Ever since my husband heard about them he wanted to try one. 10 years later and I finally got them made for him 😅

Simply take your favorite juice and freeze. However, it is important that it is extra strong in taste, as some of the taste is lost when frozen. We freeze in ice cube trays and when they are completely frozen we blend them in a food processor. After this you have a snow cone. Serve possibly in a glass.

Here I have used cranberries for one and mint soda for the other.

The classic way to make a snow cone is actually to blend ice cubes and then pour soft water syrup on top, but here the taste is not distributed very well in my opinion 😅
